The attentive staff here served a delicious freshly cooked breakfast with generous portions of high-quality food.

Got the same double room booked online with air condition, locked window and " wooden " floors. The location offered was excellent and absolutely perfect near to the train station, downtown and restaurants and the Karl Johans Gate-a terrific promenade that stretches from the train station to the Royal Palace.

Had a really enjoyable stay on a business trip. The location was indeed magnificent and perfect, only 5 minutes walk from Karl Johans Gate Street. Very close to main attractions, shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and the train station. The hotel is in the center of Oslo.

The location was great, just a short walk to the city center and all the main attractions. the hotel also had a nice Christmas decoration which made it feel very festive. the staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to answer questions and help out.

The cleanliness was not up to par. Our room was not properly cleaned on arrival, and there were some unpleasant surprises in the bathroom.

The employees at the reception desk are very polite. the double room has a modern design. - the location is marvelous, close to the sea and only a 5-minute walk from a medieval castle. - the breakfast offers gorgeous and great food.

The staff. Especially Tobbe on the reception desk who was very friendly and helpful , and special mention to Beatrice who works at the bar, she was very helpful and friendly. Location also was fantastic. I had a disabled room as I am in a wheelchair and it was a good room. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and I would reccomend this hotel to another wheelchair-user - BUT the hotel needs to put grab rails by the toilet in ALL of its disabled rooms, not just one of them! Staff had to move me from the original disabled room I booked to the one which actually had the grab rails, so they need to think about that. Grab rails in the bathroom are a pretty basic requirement for a disabled bathroom.

The cleaning of my room was slovenly. Dirty glasses were left in my room for up to three days. The bed was made every day but that was about it - some days I did not get a clean facecloth. The floors did not appear to be swept and the bathroom counters were not wiped down. as by the end of my two week stay there, they were very dusty. No milk, tea or sugar in the tea/coffee making facility for my entire stay. Plus the cleaner actually bothered me andknocked on my door the morning of my departure and hung around, clearly expecting a tip - which was a bit of a cheek considering how slovenly his cleaning of the room had been. Breakfast was often cold, and breakfast staff unhelpful and unsmiling. I often skipped breakfast because of this.

The staff at the reception desk were really kind and nice. the hotel has a marvelous location in a good area close to a parliament building and an opera house. - It is near the beach.

I had a very pleasant stay in the Rica Victoria. It is right in the centre of town between the famous Karl Johan and the townhall- old harbour. Although the room was not very large it was very new, clean and comfortable. It also had a little desk and a sofa chair. Quit nice actually for a single room.

The views to the outside were not great, but to the inside square it was very nice.
